The Canadian government allows immigration for several classes of applications as listed below:
Independent (Skilled Worker) Class
Business Immigration Class
- Investors Immigration Category
- Entrepreneurs Immigration Category
- Self-Employed Immigration Category
Family Business Immigration Class
Independent (Skilled Worker) Class
Most
independent immigrants are skilled workers, who are expected to have the
skills, education, work experience, language ability and other qualifications needed to participate in the Canadian labor market. The selection
criteria of the new Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, is based on the following factors:

- Education
(maximum 25 points)
- Official languages (maximum 24 points)
- Work
experience (maximum 21 points)
- Age
(maximum 10 points)
- Arranged
employment (maximum 10 points)
- Adaptability (maximum 10 points)
If you or your
spouse are between 21-49 years old, have a bachelor degree, with several
years of working experience, and is high or moderate proficient in English or French, you
may be able to qualify under this category. To make sure, you can fill out our assessment

Business
Class --- Investors Immigration
The
following aspects of the regulation definition should be factored into
assessment of an Investor Immigrant:
- Investors must have at least 2-3 years of experience
in business management.
- Investors must have accumulated, through their
own efforts, a net worth of at least CAN$800,000.
- The applicant will be required to make an investment
of CAN$400,000, payable to the Receiver General for Canada. The full
amount of the investment (without interest) is repaid to the investor
after approximately five years. The return of the investment is fully
guaranteed by the Canadian Government.
- No immigration terms and conditions are imposed
upon admission.
Business
Class --- Entrepreneurs Immigration
- Entrepreneurs must have the intention and ability
to establish, purchase or make a substantial investment in a business
in Canada that will contribute significantly to the economy and create
jobs.
- The business must employ at least one Canadian
citizen or permanent resident other than the entrepreneur and his
or her dependents.
- The entrepreneur must be actively involved in
managing the business.
- No minimum net worth is required but applicants
in this category must prove that they have enough capital to establish
a business, cover its short-term operating costs and support their
dependents.
- Entrepreneurs and their dependents are admitted
to Canada on the condition that they establish and actively manage
a business in Canada within two years of arrival. The terms and conditions
are removed once the entrepreneur sets up a significant business venture,
hires at least one employee, and is actively involved in managing
the business.
Business
Class --- Self-employed Immigration
- Self-employed immigrants must establish or purchase
a business in Canada that will keep them employed and contribute significantly
to Canada's economy or cultural or artistic life (for example, professional
athletes, artists, actors, farmers or writers).
- No immigration terms and conditions are imposed
requiring the applicant to set up his or her business.
- Self-employed immigrants must have the ability
to establish a business that will at a minimum create employment opportunities
for themselves who will make a significant contribution to the economy
or to Canada's artistic or cultural life.

Family
Class
Family class immigrants are sponsored, and supported
financially, by immediate family members who are Canadian citizens or
permanent residents in Canada. Family members eligible for sponsorship
are:
A. Spouses or common-law partners
B. Parents and grandparents
C. Dependent children, including adopted children
D. Children under 18 whom the sponsor intends to adopt
E. Brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, or grandchildren who are orphans,
unmarried and under age of 18.
